If data is not collected and stored in the CRIS system, then it will be stored in a Microsoft Access database. We will meet with the investigator and data mangers on the project to determine the best means of data entry. Data can be captured directly into Access or first collected on paper and then entered into Access. We will build the database to facilitate the ease and speed of data entry to the method of entry decided upon. Range checks and other point of entry validation will be built into the database to further reduce data entry errors.
